இதுவரை காலமும்  யாழ்/ மீசாலை வீரசிங்கம் மகா வித்தியலயமாக இயங்கி வந்த எமது பாடசாலை 12.02.2012 அன்று முதல் யாழ்/ மீசாலை வீரசிங்கம் மத்திய கல்லூரி (J/ Meesalai Veerasingam Central College) எனப் பெயர் மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.
